Our Approach to Energy Coaching

We believe sustainable energy comes from understanding your personal rhythm, designing realistic habits, and working with your body—not against it.

Why Personalisation Matters

Everyone's energy profile is different. One person peaks at dawn; another at dusk. Some thrive on variety; others need predictability. Your age, genetics, sleep history, work schedule, and stress level all shape your energy.

Generic advice ("sleep 8 hours, exercise daily") can be useful, but without personalisation, it often fails—because it ignores your reality. We start with your rhythm, not a template.

Four Principles We Live By

Observe Before Optimise

We start by noticing your current patterns without judgment. Only after observing do we experiment with small changes. This builds awareness and prevents reactive guessing.

Work With Biology, Not Against It

Your body has a rhythm. Rather than forcing yourself against it, we help you align your high-demand activities with your natural peaks and your recovery with natural dips.

Sustainable Over Perfect

Small, consistent changes beat ambitious overhauls that burn out. We design habits you can maintain even when life is chaotic. Realistic progress is real progress.

You Are the Expert on You

We provide frameworks and guidance. You decide what works. You know your constraints, preferences, and what feels doable. Trust your own experience.

The Coaching Process

Initial Chat (30 min, free): We listen. We ask about your typical day, energy dips, what matters to you, and what you've tried before.

Mapping Session (60 min): We help you sketch your energy patterns over a week and identify 2–3 high-impact shifts to try.

Habit Sessions (60 min each): We troubleshoot what's working, adjust what isn't, and add layers of change gradually.

Between Sessions: You experiment, track informally, notice patterns. We provide resources and check-in support.

What We Don't Do

  • Medical diagnosis or treatment. If you have a diagnosed energy condition (anaemia, thyroid disorder, chronic fatigue), consult your doctor first.
  • Psychological therapy. We're not therapists. If you need mental health support, that's a separate speciality.
  • Prescribe supplements or medications. We discuss evidence-informed lifestyle approaches; your doctor prescribes treatments.
  • Guarantee results. Everyone's experience is individual. We guide; you decide and experience.
  • Shame or perfectionism. If something doesn't work for you, that's data—not failure. We adapt.

A Note on Evidence

Our approach draws from lifestyle design research, circadian science, and habit formation studies. We stay current with evidence and are transparent when information is preliminary or debated.

We are not researchers. We're coaches applying evidence-informed frameworks to real people's lives. Sometimes reality surprises research. Your experience is valid.
